AMCA Oregon Trail Chapter NEWSLETTER

November event is “Museum Help Day” where a handful of us get together and do a little tidying up and visit over lunch. This year Chelsea and I arrived a little late and missed out on work and lunch, but the fellas; Tom, Tom, Nils, Terry, and John handled everything including a delicious lunch!! Museum is all tidy and ready for next season!!  Many thanks to you all!!  It was sunny today so hope everyone caught the last couple hours.  🏍🤙🍻

​ Last PNW moto show of the year.  Lacey, Washington!! @thetonmag throwing their 3rd invitational and as usual, we all had a blast!! Amazing bikes all around built by a fantastic family of friends supported by a neat lineup of Party Vans out front!! I even brought my 1933 VLD which was the oldest bike there (displaying the historic beginnings of chopper history)!! The weather was great, food was delicious, and the people were plentiful.  Just a great way to round out the year.  Now it’s time to retreat back to our caves for the winter to repair, dream up, and fabricate our new and old ideas for the new year.  Words and photos: -Pod-

Hey All. A little surprise for you, We made the AMCA National Magazine “ The Antique Motorcycle” with an article about our National Road Run from back in June!! Hopefully by now everyone’s new issue is hitting their mailboxes and you’ve been able to check out the writing. As you might know, printed material is limited on space, so I wanted to share MANY MORE photographs that I’ve captured of the neat event. Lots of friends from chapters across the country made trek to ride with us in our little slice of heaven, Oregon. As you’ll read in the article, we all had a fantastic time riding antique motorbikes and hanging out each evening with lots of chitchat over delicious food. Those of you who were in attendance know the fun we had and those who couldn’t make it we wished you were here with us.
