Ride’em. Don’t hide’em.

“Ride’em. Don’t Hide’em” is a term that the courageous participants of the Motorcycle TransAm take to the ultimate highest level; riding 100+ year old motorbikes 16 days 4,000 miles coast to coast across the USA 🇺🇸. Averaging about 250 miles a day, riders stopped at various places to visit neat moto museums, roadside attractions, and historical landmarks while viewing the entire country from the saddle of their antique machines of marvel.

Nightly moto maintenance, repairs, and complete overhauls are essential to keeping these 100 year old bikes going strong!! (check out the TransAm website blog for day to day reports https://motorcycletransam.com/motorcycle-transam-2025-blog/ ). They began the journey at Jennette’s Pier, North Carolina and ending at Heceta Head Lighthouse, Oregon.

It was neat to see them roll into and out of the Evergreen Aviation Museum on the second to last stop. What an absolute joy to whiteness!!

I was then able to race my 33VLD down the Oregon coastline to catch the riders again at the finish line. To say the air was filled with victorious joy and excitement would be an understatement!!

CONGRATULATIONS to all the riders, pit crews, and staff who put on an amazing performance and event. You are the elite folks who do what regular people only dream of.
Antique Motos Por Vida!!
